C. Inspection

1. Check for sharpness, rust, nicks and damage

D. Use

1. Select the correct angle.
2. Get the material all the way in.
3. Grip the handle tightly yet comfortably and hold the material in between the blades.
4. Cut in one fluid motion through the material.
