To safely and effectively provide instruction on the inspection and proper use of compaction wheels.

III. Process
NOTE: Work instruction does not supplement the manual. For specific instructions for the exact model please refer to the owner’s manual.
A. Potential Hazards

C. Inspection
- Ensure the quick hitch pins have the retaining bolts and washers and they are correctly fitted.
- Check for debris in the quick hitch locking mechanism and check the fit of the unit on the quick hitch, do not use if not secure.
D. Use
- Select relevant size pins to match your machine’s quick hitch.
- Fit front pin to correct sized hole.
- Adjust the position of rear pin to suit the quick hitch.
- Attach the compaction wheel.
- Move the arm back and forth in straight lines, maintaining even pressure where possible, to achieve the most even and consistent compaction.
- When compaction wheel is no longer needed, release from the quick hitch.
- Use integrated stand to store upright when not in use.
E. Maintenance
- Grease bearings before each use.
