I. Purpose & Scope
To safely and effectively provide instruction on the inspection and proper use of air hoses.
II. Definitions
Standard PPE – High Viz Garment, Hard Hat, Z-87.1 Safety Glasses, Gloves, Pants, Work Boots.
III. Process
NOTE: Work instruction does not supplement the manual. For specific instructions for the exact model please refer to the owner’s manual.

C. Inspection
- Check for holes, kinks, and wear.
D. Use
- Turn on the air compressor, and let it build up pressure. Look at the gauge on the air compressor to see the current PSI level. The pressure level of the compressor needs to reach at least 30 PSI.
- Plug the air hose from the air compressor into the air line connector. Push the connector on the end of the air hose into the nipple on the attachment until you hear a popping sound.
